OUR LOCAL / WELLIE SUPPLIERS

While we yearn to bring the vibrant flavours and precious gifts of our little island to you, we believe that it is equally important to embrace the produce and suppliers of the locality, too. The t-Lounge in Wellington sources most raw materials for our exciting food menu from local farmers and markets.  Additionally, we have joined hands with several reputed suppliers from the local community to incorporate a few Wellie favourites into our colourful menu.

Wooden Spoon Boutique Freezery

The recipient of countless Outstanding NZ Food Producer Awards and other accolades in the industry, this ice cream producer is best known for coming up with the most unique flavours using the most out-of-the-box ingredients one could imagine. From fruits to coffees, nuts to sauces, spices to savouries, there’s nothing that seems to go untouched at the Wooden Spoon workshop. Above all, they taste spectacular.

We couldn’t think of anyone better to pair up with to work on a few delectable tea-infused ice cream and gelato flavours for The t-Lounge – and we think you’ll love it.

KB Kombucha

Kombucha tea is increasingly popular among consumers today – particularly among the more health-conscious. The scientific benefits of drinking kombucha are numerous and the beverage puts an interesting twist on the conventional cuppa. KB Kombucha is one of Wellington’s most sought-after kombucha producers, with their range of fruity, floral and zingy flavoured kombuchas being relished by many New Zealanders.

Of course, The t-Lounge could not resist the opportunity to bring them on board to offer our clients the option to detox – while they dine.

Schoc Chocolates

Chocolate is everyone’s best friend, and the purveyors of Schoc have been dishing out an ever-expanding range of chocolates for nearly twenty years. Chocolates of all shapes, sizes, flavours and combinations come out of the Schoc kitchen in the form of slabs, truffles, coated treats and more, on a daily basis. Just as we, the family of Dilmah Tea, believe in the therapeutic properties of tea, the owner and creator of Schoc strongly endorses the use of chocolate in therapy.

What better way to merge two of the world’s favourite ‘therapies’ than for The t-Lounge to pair up with Schoc to come up with a few exclusive tea-inspired truffles? We’ve got it covered.
